2005 05 21 - The Unborn Jesus
Apostolate at the Carmelites'
Eucharistic Congress
The Carmelites held their Eucharistic Congress at their Little Flower Heaven Retirement home in San Diego on May 25th, 2005. For the second consecutive, time the Unborn Jesus Apostolate was invited to participate by setting up an Unborn Jesus Missionary Table and by leading an Unborn Jesus Holy Hour. Sister Mary Katherine first met members of the Unborn Jesus Apostolate at the 2003 Catholic Family Conference in Anaheim, California, while Peter was volunteering at the table. He himself had donated the Child Jesus Banner which was hanging from the front of the table. The Child Jesus in the banner invites people to stop with open arms. Who was to guess that such an act of charity and detachment was going to bring many blessings to the Unborn Jesus Apostolate? The banner called on Sister Mary Katherine’s attention as she approached the Unborn Jesus missionary table. Sister Mary Katherine was so impressed with the Unborn Jesus message, she invited the Unborn Jesus Apostolate to participate for two consecutive occasions at the Carmelites' Eucharistic Congress.
Last
year
I
was
pondering
on
the
grace
God
had
conceived
to
the
Unborn
Jesus
Apostolate
as
I
saw
Carmelite
nuns
worshipping
Jesus
in
the
Womb.
I
wondered
of
their
reaction
afterwards.
Well,
trusting
in
Jesus,
I
finish
leading
the
half
hour
and
then
asked
the
group
to
resume
their
quiet
prayers.
I
walked
out
of
the
chapel
with
my
companions
toward
the
Unborn
Jesus
table. The main purpose of this trip had been accomplished.
This
year,
the
Unborn
Jesus
Apostolate
participated
at
the
congress
by
setting up its missionary table and by leading an Unborn Jesus Holy Hour.

promote
devotion
to
the
Unborn
Child
Jesus
by
inviting
the
visitors
to
the
table
to
start an Unborn Jesus Holy Hour at their own parish.

Hour when she invited some of the Carmelite nuns to join us in prayer.
